How are the questions and answers on this site checked?

Each subject has its own check, because a wrong answer key is worse than no question.

Checks by subject

Subject	How answers are checked
Quant	Hand-written answers are recomputed in code from the question's own numbers. A key is rejected if it does not match, or if another option also matches.
Reasoning	Puzzle and seating sets are solved by searching all arrangements; each must have exactly one solution. Syllogisms are checked against every possible Venn diagram.
English	Each question is answered independently. Questions where a second option could be defended are rewritten.
General Awareness	Time-sensitive facts (rates, office holders, recent events) were checked against sources and carry an "as of" date. Facts that could not be confirmed were dropped.

Generated questions

For 30 topics, questions are generated by code. The code computes the answer itself, so the key cannot be mistyped. A generated question is kept only if it has five different options and a valid answer position.

The validator

Every question bank passes an automatic check before it is loaded. It rejects unknown topics, questions without exactly five options, duplicate options, invalid answer keys, missing or very short explanations, and duplicate questions within and across bank files.

Typed answers

For numeric questions you can type the value. Commas, "Rs." and "%" are ignored, and a small tolerance allows for rounding.

If you find a mistake

Mistakes can still slip through. If an answer key or fact looks wrong, note the question and report it as described on the About page. GA facts can also go out of date after their "as of" date, so check current rates on official sites such as the RBI website.

Questions here are written for practice. They follow the published pattern but are not copies of SBI papers.
