How do I use the 8-week study plan on this site?

This websiteUpdated 2026-10-23
Short answer

Follow it week by week: speed base, reasoning scoring topics, arithmetic, puzzles, DI, then three weeks of mocks and repair. Start Mains topics (banking, current affairs, computer) by week 5, and stretch the plan if you have more time.

The plan is built for Prelims first, then widened for Mains. It puts the highest-scoring topics early and leaves the last three weeks for mocks.

The eight weeks at a glance

WeekFocus
1Speed base: squares to 30, cubes to 20, percentage-fraction table; simplification and approximation daily; 1 RC a day
2Reasoning scoring set: inequality, syllogism, alphanumeric series, coding; start linear seating
3Arithmetic core (percentage, ratio, profit and loss, SI/CI, average); error detection and fillers
4Puzzles (circular, floor, box) timed at 5-6 minutes; number series; first mini mock
5DI types and remaining arithmetic; para jumbles and cloze
6Three full Prelims mocks; redo mistakes before each next mock
7Fix weak spots from the dashboard; mock every other day
8Mock a day at your exam slot; light revision; sleep well

Adjusting it

  • More than 8 weeks: make each of weeks 1-5 last 10-14 days.
  • Less than 8 weeks: merge weeks 1-2 and 3-5, and start mocks by week 3.
  • Working: treat each "week" as 10 days.

Mains topics

From week 5, add static banking and RBI (20 minutes a day), current affairs of the last six months from a monthly source, MS Office, networking and security, and logical reasoning. After Prelims, these take the larger share of your day.

A day inside the plan

A typical day while following the plan: about 2 hours Quant, 2 hours Reasoning, 1 hour English, and from week 5 one hour of GA or computer. On mock days, the mock and its analysis replace the morning topic block.

Use the plan with the dashboard. The plan tells you what to start; the "Weak spots" list tells you what to repeat.
