What is the application fee for SBI Clerk?

How to pay

• Online only, through the payment gateway built into the application form.
• Accepted modes: debit card, credit card or internet banking.
• Any transaction charges for online payment are borne by the candidate.
• After a successful payment, an e-receipt and your application form with fee details are generated. Print and keep both.

Rules on refunds

The fee is non-refundable. Once paid, it will not be refunded on any account, and it cannot be held in reserve for any other exam or selection. If you submit more than one application, only the last valid completed one is retained and the fee paid for the other registrations is forfeited.

Does a PwBD or SC/ST candidate need to do anything extra?

You still complete the full online registration and submit it - you just will not be charged. Choose your category carefully, because no change of category is allowed after registration and you will have to produce the relevant certificate at joining or document verification.

Special recruitment drive

For the 2026 special recruitment drive for SC/ST/OBC backlog vacancies (CRPD/CR/SPLDRIVE/2026-27/16), the fee was Rs 750 for OBC and nil for SC/ST/PwBD/XS/DXS. General and EWS candidates could not apply to that drive.
